Tourist Transportation: A service aimed at tourists to explore Costa Rica's most popular destinations, such as beaches, volcanoes, national parks, and more.

Vehicle Categories:

Economy: For up to 4 passengers.
Standard: For 4 to 25 passengers.
How can I make a reservation with Pura Vida Rides?
To make a reservation, follow these steps:

Visit our website: Fill out the booking form with the required details (name, number of passengers, pick-up location, destination, date and time of service, etc.).

Receive the Quote: We will send you a personalized quote.

Confirmation and Payment: Accept the quote and make the payment through secure methods such as PayPal, credit/debit card, or bank transfer (Sinpe Móvil for Costa Rican residents).

Final Confirmation: Once the payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

What payment methods are accepted?

Pura Vida Rides accepts the following payment methods:

PayPal
Credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
Bank transfer or Sinpe Móvil (for Costa Rican residents only).
Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your reservation, but please note the following:

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance: 100% refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours: A 100% penalty of the total amount will apply.
No-show: No refund.
If Pura Vida Rides cancels the service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a reschedule or full refund, depending on the situation.

How do I know if my reservation has been confirmed?
You will receive a confirmation email with the service details, including:

Vehicle number
Driver information
Pick-up time and location.
The confirmation will be sent within 4 hours after the payment is processed, during business hours (05:00 AM - 07:00 PM local time).

What should I do if I have a special request (e.g., baby car seat or extra luggage)?
It's important to inform us of any special requests when making the reservation. This includes:

Baby or child car seats.
Special luggage (bicycles, surfboards, etc.).
Requests related to individuals with disabilities.
We will ensure that the vehicle meets these needs.

Can I change the pick-up time or location after my reservation is confirmed?
Any changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. We will try to accommodate your changes, but they will be subject to availability.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed, don't worry. We monitor flights and will automatically adjust the pick-up time. If the delay is significant, we will contact you to confirm the new details.

What happens if the vehicle arrives late or there is a problem with the service?
We strive to ensure punctuality, but occasionally unforeseen issues such as traffic, weather conditions, or mechanical problems may arise. If the vehicle is late, we will keep you informed through our contact channels and offer alternative options.

Does the service include a tour guide?
The transportation service does not include a tour guide. However, we can offer recommendations for places of interest, and some of our drivers may share general information about the destinations. If you require a tour guide, we recommend booking one separately through a local agency.

Are my personal data secure?
At Pura Vida Rides, we are committed to protecting your privacy. All your personal data is handled in accordance with Costa Rica's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 8968). We will not share your information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

Is the transportation adapted for individuals with reduced mobility?
If you need a vehicle adapted for individuals with reduced mobility or any additional equipment, please indicate this when making your reservation. We will do our best to ensure that your service meets your specific needs.

Can I make a partial payment?
No, full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation. We do not accept partial payments to ensure service availability.

Can I use Pura Vida Rides for transfers to other parts of Costa Rica outside the usual routes?
Yes, we offer transportation to any destination within Costa Rica. Just let us know at the time of booking, and we will confirm the availability of the service.
